Norse Precision Castings, leading aluminium sand casters, have recently invested in two CNC machining centres to augment an already comprehensive capacity of in-house equipment.
Colin Steed, Managing Director reports that judicious investment at these times enables Norse Precision Castings to keep on top of the workload and remain economically competitive.
Whilst there may be a temptation to sub-contract during peak loads, full control of quality comes from having all key post casting operations under the one roof including straightening, heat treating, CNC machining, finishing, and assembly.
